Aakash Nijhawan is a senior energy sector focused C-Suite executive. He has a 23-year career focused on the Energy sector and in the Investment Banking industry, having worked in the US and the UAE.
Over the course of his career, Aakash has focused on articulating a company’s mission and strategy, setting actionable plans and budgets, and subsequently delivering on those plans to maximize returns for shareholders. In addition, Aakash also has extensive experience, advocating for good governance given his previous roles on various executive committees, Boards and Advisory Boards.
From a growth delivery standpoint, Aakash has transacted on over $40bn of organic and inorganic growth activity, in over 23 countries with transaction types ranging from simple sub $100mm private sell sides to complex multi-billion dollar public tender offers
Aakash graduated with an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York and with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey. At Columbia Business School, Aakash was the Head Teaching Assistant for Corporate Finance.
He has also published three debt management advisory papers, and has represented his employers in various public engagements.
